The Ultra-120 Extreme features a patent-pending design of the fins. In every corner of every fin, a “winglet” is created. This bending of the corners creates an increased air pressure and in return decreases air resistance, so even with a low RPM fan you get massive air flow through the fins. The user can attach any 120mm fan and watch those high CPU temperatures go way down. With a low fan RPM, the cooler is extremely quiet but performance remains, which is what you would expect from a high-end CPU cooler.

The cooler consists of five U-shaped heatpipes to transfer the heat from the base of the cooler up and through the attached fins, maximising the heat transfer. But that’s not all, due to the winglet design mentioned earlier; it also increases the surface area. All these features translates into more cooling power.

Compatibility

Ultra-120 Extreme - Compatible with Intel LGA775 and AMD AM2 socket. Socket 754/939 owners will require the S939 Bolt Through Kit.
