Caveo Anti-Theft PC Cards is unique in its ability to provide robust security without sacrificing user convenience. It operates by detecting motion, analysing it to determine whether a threat exists, and implementing responses. It works independently of the computer operating system and operates whether the laptop is on or off.

If a thief moves the laptop beyond a set perimeter, a 110dB alarm sounds and access to the operating system is completely locked out.

The user can arm and disarm the Caveo anti-theft system either in software such as when the screensaver starts, or using a configurable Motion Password - allowing the user to control the Anti-theft system even while the laptop is stored away in a bag or briefcase.

The in-built rechargeable battery means that a laptop can be protected for up to three weeks without even turning it on, and the alarm will continue to sound without external power.
