Introducing ASUS’ flagship CPU cooler, the Silent Knight. Utilising the latest PWM technology; the dynamic fan speed control delivers efficient heat dissipation for the most powerful of processors in all situations. The Silent Knight offers quiet performance and a unique design, including a blue LED for a stylish computing environment.

With its large heat exchange area, lightweight design and six curved heat pipes, the units relieves stress on the motherboard and also ensures that the processor temperature is always maintained at levels most suitable for high-performance and reliable computing. The Silent Knight coolers also incorporate a PWM function, which automatically modulates fan speeds according to CPU temperature and delivers a quiet cooling solution at no more than 25dBA.

The Silent Knight is available in two difference version. The two coolers are identical in every way apart from the material they are manufactured from and their weight. The II version consists from 100% pure copper while the AL version is manufactured from aluminium. From a performance point of view and due to the fact copper has better heat dissipation properties than aluminium, you will find the II version can lower CPU temperatures by around 2-3° compared to the AL version.

The Silent Knight II supports the Intel’s Core2 Extreme series, Pentium D Dual-Core CPU, Pentium 4 LGA775 processors; as well as the AMD’s Socket AM2/940/939/754, Athlon™ 64-FX, Athlon™ and Sempron™ processors - making it ready for the latest and most powerful computing platforms in the market today.

The voltage regulation shield inside the cooler directs airflow created by the 92mm LED fan to surrounding VRM (voltage regulation modules) that are critical to processor operations and overall system reliability. This unique design effectively reduces VRM temperature by 10-15°C - allowing for smooth and stable operations.
