Our LapCabby Up-Link laptop trolley upgrade comes with a WiFi access point that allows the computer trolley to be plugged into the school LAN, providing a wireless access point for the classroom.

The Up-Link laptop trolleys also utilise a Gigabit Network Switch (and concealed Cat5e cabling. These allow the laptops to remain connected to the LAN even when they're charging — which means they can be updated remotely overnight.

- The LapCabby range comes complete with gigabit switch and WiFi access point.

- WiFi Access Point (D-Link DAP-2553) – allows the unit to be plugged into the school LAN providing a wireless access point for the laptops to connect to whilst being used in the classroom.

- Gigabit Network Switch (D-Link DGS-1210-24) and concealed Cat5e cabling – laptops can remain connected to the LAN even while charging allowing laptops to be updated overnight.

- All Internal wiring is concealed for a smart finish.

- Both networking units are kept in the ventilated moulding secured to the top of the unit. This allows easy access if required, but prevents the units from being tampered with.
